Designed for kids who thrive with movement, hands-on learning, and a supportive environment, our unique camp experience helps kids strengthen wellness skills while having fun with animals, outdoor challenges, and engaging activities.
What Does Camp Look Like with Summer at Summit Ranch ?
This summer, give your child the opportunity to build confidence, develop emotional resilience, and gain real-life coping skills—all while having fun in nature. Summit Ranch’s therapeutic summer camp is designed for children who benefit from extra support in a warm, engaging environment. Whether they experience anxiety, emotional regulation challenges, or simply need a different approach to learning and growth, our program offers a unique blend of mental health support, movement-based learning, and outdoor adventure.
Led by experienced therapists and mentors, each day at camp is designed to help kids feel capable and empowered. Through guided nature-based activities, animal interactions, and hands-on therapeutic experiences, campers learn to manage emotions, improve focus, and strengthen self-regulation in a way that feels natural and fun. The supportive atmosphere fosters connection, reduces stress, and encourages kids to discover new strengths within themselves.

Our ½ Day Summer Camp is a fun, engaging experience where kids build confidence, self-regulation, and social skills—while moving, playing, and connecting with animals and nature. We integrate structured activities with free play to create a summer experience that is both therapeutic and exciting.

Each day is filled with engaging, strengths-based activities like:

Unlike traditional summer camps, our program is designed with executive function, emotional regulation, and confidence-building in mind. We create a warm, accepting atmosphere where kids feel supported, have fun, and learn real-life skills that help them thrive.

✔ Comfortable clothing & closed-toe shoes for outdoor activities.
✔ A water bottle.
✔ A snack (if desired).

Creative Expression Through SEL-Based Art
Art is more than just creativity. It is a powerful tool for self-discovery and emotional growth. In our SEL based art sessions, kids explore their emotions through hands-on, therapeutic art projects in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Through painting, drawing, and mixed-media activities, children develop self-awareness, build emotional resilience, and learn new ways to express themselves. Each brushstroke becomes a step toward confidence, communication, and personal growth.
Nature Mindfulness Walks
Give your child the chance to slow down, breathe, and connect with the world around them. Our guided nature mindfulness walks take place along peaceful trails, where kids practice calming meditations and engage in interactive activities that promote self-awareness and emotional balance.
Surrounded by nature, they will learn to focus on the present moment, reduce stress, and build a stronger sense of inner calm. This experience encourages a deeper connection with themselves and the natural world in a way that feels refreshing and restorative.
Building Stronger Thinking Skills
Help your child develop the skills they need to focus, plan, and problem-solve with confidence. Our executive functioning activities use interactive discussions and engaging games to strengthen essential cognitive abilities like attention, memory, and flexible thinking.
Through hands-on challenges and playful learning, kids build the tools they need to stay organized, manage tasks, and navigate daily life with greater independence. Every session is designed to make learning feel fun, empowering, and practical.
Supportive Therapy Groups for Kids
Led by our Clinical Director, Jordanne Ehrhart, LCSW, our therapy groups provide a welcoming space where kids can explore their emotions, build self-awareness, and develop essential life skills. Through guided discussions and interactive activities, children learn effective strategies for managing stress, boosting self-esteem, and strengthening resilience.

Yoga for Focus and Confidence
Help your child build strength, balance, and self-awareness in our rejuvenating yoga sessions. Held in our dedicated yoga studio, each class incorporates gentle stretches and mindful breathing exercises designed to promote relaxation, improve focus, and boost confidence.
Led by caring instructors, these sessions provide a welcoming space where kids can release stress, enhance body awareness, and develop emotional resilience through movement and mindfulness.
Barn Time and Equine Assisted Learning
Let your child experience the power of animal connections through hands-on activities with our ranch animals. Equine assisted learning sessions provide a unique opportunity to build confidence, strengthen social skills, and develop teamwork in a calm and supportive environment.
